How to change the password of your cPanel account

There may be times where you would like to change the password of your account. It is recommended to change your password at least once a month. It is also recommended to have the password be alphanumeric so it is difficult to guess.

Follow the below steps to change the password of your cPanel account:

Step 1. Login to your cPanel account and then select "Password & Security" under "Preferences" section.

Step 2. Next is you have to fill out the all information under "Change Password":

  • Old Password: Enter your old cPanel password.
  • New Password: Enter password for your cPanel account or Generate a password using the "Password Generator" button.
  • New Password (Again): Repeat the same password that you have filled in password field.

Step 3. Click on the "Change your password now!" button.
